STREET OUTREACH VALENTINE’S DAY 2023
During the Valentine’s Day celebration, Creative Hands Ministry embraced the theme of taking Jesus’s love to the streets, spreading joy, dancing, and happiness across various states. In Surulere, Lagos, Trade Center Market in Kuru, Jos South, and Akwa Ibom, our team visited streets with the mission of sharing God’s love with everyone we encountered. In Surulere, we visited over 10 streets, distributing flowers and thoughtful gifts to more than 150 women. The gesture surprised and delighted them, as receiving flowers as a symbol of love was a rare and special experience. Each woman received a symbolic rose from Jesus Christ, symbolizing the boundless love He offers. One notable visit took us to a police station in Surulere district. The warm welcome we received and the joy the roses brought to the women there were overwhelming. It was a joyous occasion as we shared the love of Jesus, bringing smiles and warmth to the hearts of those in the law enforcement community. In Jos, we targeted Trade Center Market, a local market where hardworking women dedicate their days to provide for their families. Despite their busy schedules, we found a comfortable spot for evangelistic activities. We introduced ourselves, initiated a worship session, and shared the word of God, capturing their undivided attention. The women were pleasantly surprised and rejoiced at this unexpected visitation. After the message, we distributed roses and gifts, expressing our love in a unique way. Some of the women, experiencing such a gesture for the first time, couldn’t contain their joy. They expressed gratitude, thanked us for coming, and wished us well. Overall, they were profoundly grateful to God for sending us to them. These experiences in Surulere, Trade Center Market, and Akwa Ibom allowed Creative Hands Ministry to create beautiful stories of love, kindness, and lasting joy by sharing the limitless love of Jesus with diverse communities.
