“God’s compassionate heart extends especially to widows, as emphasized in 1 Timothy 5:3 (Contemporary English Version): ‘Take care of any widow who is really in need.’

On October 4, 2022, we extended invitations to widows from various locations and churches, with a special focus on those associated with the Mountain of Power and Fire ministry. Members of our ministry were encouraged to invite widows they knew for a celebration in their honour.

The fellowship started with prayer and was followed by a praise and worship session at Eric Moore, Lagos State, Creative Hands Ministry Headquarters. People expressed their thanks to God for the opportunity to be in His presence. Dancing, clapping, and joyful shouts filled the air as we recognized that God creates beauty in His own time and that the Lord had brought that day to pass for us.

The highlight of the day featured Pastor Daisy, our convener, sharing God’s word and words of encouragement with the women. Recognizing that many faced various challenges, we understood that our offerings could only go so far. Nevertheless, we joined our faith with theirs, trusting in the Almighty to settle every situation.

Following the inspirational session, lives were instantly transformed, and the presence of God was evident through diverse healings and deliverances. The event concluded with the distribution of gifts, including food items and money, to assist the women in starting or enhancing their businesses. The recipients expressed profound excitement and appreciation for the commission and everyone who contributed to making the day meaningful. In a heartfelt gesture, they took turns offering prayers of gratitude for the remarkable encounter, and the event culminated in a joyous celebration of praise and dance.
