HOW IT ALL STARTED
Empowering Women on a Global Scale
Pink Day’s mission to empower women began in 2020, following a founding vision to support women in various aspects of their lives. The organization offers a range of engaging lifestyle programs, tackling topics like family life, self-image, leadership, character development, and wealth creation.
One of their first programs, “What Do Men Want from Women?”, broke ground by inviting male perspectives, creating a fascinating dialogue. Since then, Pink Day has conducted numerous online programs and training sessions with titles like “Sip, Eat, and Network,” “How to Start a Business with 10,000 Naira,” and “Becoming.” These programs cater to girls and women of all ages, from teenagers navigating adolescence to adults seeking personal growth.
Pink Day actively participates in the United Nations’ International Day of the Girl Child. In 2021, they collaborated with Shoms International Schools, and in 2022, empowered girls at Rainbow College Day School in Surulere. Recognizing the importance of mothers, Pink Day also introduced the Mother’s Day program, featuring events like “Eat and Drink.” This platform fosters a supportive community where women can share their stories and inspire each other.
