HOW IT ALL STARTED

A Hand Up, Not a Handout

The Creative Hands Foundation was established in November 2019 with a mission to support women in the Good Shepherd Anglican Church located in Ajegunle, a suburb of Lagos State, Nigeria. Our initial outreach involved providing a free boutique offering clothes and accessories, along with cooked meals and snacks for their enjoyment. Shortly thereafter, during the Christmas season of that year, CHF returned with food baskets for 100 families, ensuring they had essential food items for the holiday season.
In 2020, our efforts expanded to include monthly distributions of food and essential materials to families facing hardships. Our focus remains on supporting communities who are most vulnerable, particularly widows and orphans.
For the past four years, we have dedicated ourselves to bringing joy to people’s lives through our giving initiatives. Our commitment at CHF is unwavering, and we look forward to continuing our mission of giving indefinitely, with the aim of making a lasting impact in our community.
